As the NHL Playoffs enter the Conference Finals, EA figured they'd take some time to nab the attention of those fans of one of the 26 teams that are presently setting up tee times by releasing a new video for their upcoming NHL 13. Of course, for those of you fortunate enough to still be rooting your team on, EA would like your eyes, too, but it's understandable if your attention is elsewhere.


The trailer teases that new improvements are coming to the latest installment in the hockey video game franchise, and how it somehow relates to the skill stick that was introduced in NHL 07. It's also the first in the 'Road to NHL 13' video series

video game fitness can`t substitue actual workouts

     Since the launch of the Xbox Kinect and Nintendo Wii Balance Board, gamers have become excited and found a reason to stay active while playing. However, this is no excuse to stop going to the gym and engage into traditional physical activity.Motion detection game consoles are a big hit in the gaming industry. Dancing like Michael Jackson and training like your favorite UFC fighter can be a great time and does some physical activity. But, it doesn’t replace the experience a person gets at the gym.

     Playing games like “Just Dance” are a lot of fun, especially with friends at parties. The way the controls make the games easy to begin playing without too much experience.Realistically, fun is all it’s good for. Nothing more.With just exercising at home, there is only so much someone can do. Most people don’t have all the equipment of a full gym at home.

     There is not much space to move around. The Kinect has a much wider range of motion than the Wii Balance Board does. Kinect still has limitations. Gamers still have to worry about not hitting furniture or knocking things over if they really get into the game.“It’s really more of a first-step to fitness,” said Kevin Reyes, Games Room employee at Sacramento State. “It’s more for play rather than fitness. It’s trying to get more people to be slightly active while they enjoy spare time rather than sitting in front of the screen.”

Microsoft is planning to launch a $99 Xbox console package with a monthly subscription as early as next week, according to our sources. The software giant will offer the 4GB console with a Kinect sensor at its range of Microsoft Stores in the US, subsidized with a monthly cost of $15. We're told that the two-year subscription will provide access to the Xbox Live Gold service and possibly some additional streaming content from cable providers or sports package providers. Customers who sign-up for the deal will also be covered under a two-year warranty.   

My summer

This summer i will only be doing one thing. I will be playing hockey all summer. Training and preparing for the season. I can`t wait for my summer to start.

A hunger games video game?

 As the hunger games get more popular people are thinking of making a video game fro it. However many think this would be a bad idea.It’s not that it would almost certainly require players to kill children, either, though that’s a thorny issue. Rather, it’s something about the nature of the book itself that makes a video game the wrong way in which to tell the story. The book is about a distant future in which a capitol rules over 12 districts. there were 13 but ever district rebelled and lost. The capitol destroyed number 13 in which the hunger games were born. Click here to learn more.

spring break

Over my amazing spring break I did many things. For example I tried out for a AAA hocket team calles the rockets. I made it the first night. I also played a lot of baseball due to the fact that it was opening day Saturday. I had the best time ever. I also skated at open hockey a couple of times just to scrimmage and joke around with my friends. Sadly I had to miss my little brothers first hockey game do to baseball. We lost 25-12 against VFW Hawks. Then we won on Monday 9-6. I was happy with the second game because I 2 RBI singles. Also on Saturday We had a parade from CVS to the little league field.

apple reaches milestone

Finalizing its lead as the world's most valuable business, Apple's market capitalization has now topped $500 billion for the first time. Apple is in rare company. It is the sixth U.S. corporation to reach the $500B milestone. Apple's rise has been powered by its lofty sales and profits, which are growing at rates unheard of for a company its size.

I had a lot of time on my hands due to the four day weekend. On Saturday I went to the place I go to to train for hockey(Extra Edge). The next day I had a game against the New England Junior Falcons. We were missing a lot of our team and lost seven, two. I had both assist. Monday I did a three on three and then went to the training place again. After that I skated in the mourning, went over my friends house until practice later that day.

 

Winter

Winter is the best time for me. It is hockey season. As you all know hockey is my favorite sport. Also winter time means snow. Snow is fun to playing because of snowball fights. . Check out this website
